Contacting the Lapointes

We have had so many requests for the best ways to contact the Lapointes, for everything from sending birthday and get-well wishes to volunteering to help Cathy with transportation to and from the hospital. Thank you for your support...and here's how you can help.

Get-well cards for Theresa. If you're at Urbana High School, you can give them to Angela or to Heather Kyler. Or mail them to:

Donations. There are no boundaries to the generosity of the community and far-flung firends, and no words enough to thank you. The money that you have collected will be used to help Cathy meet Theresa's healthcare expenses that are not covered by insurance, and to help pay for meals, gas, and other expenses of traveling to the hospital. Driving. Laura Harris has graciously agreed to keep a list of drivers and manage a schedule for getting Cathy to the hospital. If you want to help drive, you can reach Laura at Lauraacha@aol.com. Thank you, Laura!

Messages from the blog, and emails, will be saved for Theresa's scrapbook.

Flowers. Flowers are not permitted in the critical care unit. But cards, messages, and hearts are most welcome, and will be wonderful mementos for Theresa when she's better.
